No. 441 English Hybrid Meeting

Date: From 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on November 12, 2022

Today’s meeting began with our president’s talk about losing her smart phone at a station on her way home. Then, the control to advance the meeting was given to TM K., Toastmaster of the day (Master of Ceremony). She led an educational session smoothly from introducing roles such as Timer and Vote Counter to today’s awarding session.

The theme of the session of the day was about “about yourself” which invited us to describe our emotions based on our experiences on a particular day in the past. Each speaker assigned developed their stories based on a day they had, and recalled the emotions they felt, such as being happy, angry, nervous, and confused as well as other emotions they may have experienced on that particular day.

There were four prepared speakers on the day, and their speeches were: the ice-breaking speech by our new member, a speech about preparing a speech for a speech contest with our members, a speech about a member’s business trip, and a speech about an abstract notion, each of which was based on speech projects at the Toastmasters Club.
