No. 443 English Hybrid Meeting

Date: From 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on December 10, 2022

Today’s meeting was the last meeting held in English in 2022. Today’s agenda was a fully packed program with five speakers and therefore a tight schedule. Despite the situation, Toastmasters of the Day (Master of Ceremony) arranged the schedule nicely, being able to finish the meeting at 4:00 p.m.

The theme of the session of the day was about “What was something that happened this year?” which was a timely question to look back on what happened to each speaker during our last English meeting.

The speakers assigned talked about: a memory of visiting Okinawa, one of the favorite things he bought, a lesson learned from the World Cup 2022, and a Japanese comedian she watched on video.

[Prepared Speech Section]

There were five prepared speakers on the day, and two of them were ice breakers, trying their first speeches at the club. The speech objectives were from ice breaking, body　language, inspiring the audience with entertaining speeches, which were good references to us to create and compose future speeches.
