No. 445 English Hybrid Meeting

Date: From 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on January 14, 2023

Today was the first time for our club to hold a regular meeting in 2023. Meanwhile, there are fewer than six months left as my role of TM Meeting Reporter of our Public Relations division. I will give you our reports on a timely-basis it order for you to know better about our club.

The theme of the session of the day was about “New Year’s Resolutions” which suited this year’s first regular meeting.

Each speaker assigned to talk talked about such things as winning tennis games, recovering from sickness, improving English abilities, the sending of messages to younger generations about one’s international experience, the ideal person one wants to be, and for another member, about her goal to be like her healthy parents.

[Prepared Speech Section]

There were four prepared speakers on the day, and they developed their speeches based on Pathways, describing the goals of their speech projects, speech purposes, and how to do them. After the speeches, each speech evaluator gave overall assessment for each speech, pointing out good points and room for improvement for future speeches, which was significantly educational for both the speakers and the audience.
