No. 455 English Hybrid Meeting

Date: From 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on June 10, 2023

In today's regular meeting, a new member joined our club; therefore, we had an induction ceremony to welcome and introduce her. She is supposed to give her first speech in the near future, we look forward to listening to her speech. After the session finished, we did educational sessions (below).

Today’s session involved us combining three words to compose a speech, which was called “Association Game.” The speakers assigned came up with speech compositions using three given words and gave impromptu speeches in front of the audience.

[Prepared Speech Section]

There were four prepared speakers on the day, and their speeches were: 1) the best day he ever had, 2) telling a story of two detectives arguing whether they should tell about their conclusions first or not, 3) how to create a speech related to the speaker’s experience with composing music, and 4) one’s experience with haggling with sellers while shopping in China.
