〜ドキドキ・ハラハラは人生のスパイス？テーブルトピックスコンテスト開催！〜

人生に「ドキドキ・ハラハラ」はつきものですよね。 トーストマスターズの例会において、まさにその瞬間を味わえるのが「テーブルトピックス（即興スピーチ）」の時間です。言わば、人生の縮図とも言えるこのセッション。
今回の第515回例会は、来年開催されるコンテストのクラブ予選となる**「テーブルトピックスコンテスト」**が開催されました！🏆
■ 8年ぶりの開催！ムサコの猛者が集結 🔥
クラブ内でのテーブルトピックスコンテストは、なんと8年ぶりの開催。 久しぶりの決戦ということで、ムサコの猛者（ベテランメンバーの皆様ですね😉）が多く参加し、白熱した展開となりました。
運営チームも、コンテスト委員長の TM K、審査員長の TM T という盤石な体制で臨みました。
■ フェアな真剣勝負 ⚔️
このコンテストのルールは独特です。 第1スピーカー以外は全員部屋の外で待機し、一人ずつ入場してお題を聞きます。全員が**「全く同じ質問・同じ条件」**で即興スピーチを行うため、ごまかしのきかないフェアな勝負となります。
今回は、コンテスタントとしても参加した私（TM O）が、会場で聞いた**「聴衆からのコメント」**を中心に、当日の熱気をお伝えします。コメントから、どんなスピーチが繰り広げられたのか想像してみてください💭
🎤 英語コンテスト
お題：「Small Secret（小さな秘密）」 🤫

💬「出だしの地理歴史英語の勉強で理由が気になったことに対して、ちゃんと回収されたので引き込まれました」（by TM I）

💬「とても緊張している様子がヒシヒシ伝わりました。嫌だったけれど、親子の証明であり、それがとても独特な秘密だったこと、面白かったです。悩みながらも、つむぎ出すストーリー、心がほっとあたたまりました」（by TM F）

💬「わあ！全然無理に詰め込んだ感じがなく、とても分かりやすいストーリーになっていました。すごいです。2分30秒の中にたくさんの情報が入っているのに、圧倒される感じがしませんでした」（by TM T）

~Is "Heart-Pounding Suspense" the Spice of Life? Table Topics Contest Report!~

Life is full of "heart-pounding suspense," isn't it? In Toastmasters meetings, the time you feel this the most is undoubtedly during Table Topics (Impromptu Speech) session. You could say it’s a microcosm of life.
The 515th meeting was held as the "Club Table Topics Contest," serving as the qualifier for the upcoming contest next year! 🏆
■ Held for the First Time in 8 Years! "Musako Veterans" Assemble 🔥
This was the first time in 8 years that we held a club-level Table Topics contest. Fitting for such a long-awaited showdown, many of "Musako's Veterans" (our experienced long-time members 😉) participated, making it a heated battle.
The operation team was also rock-solid, with TM K as the Contest Chair and TM T as the Chief Judge.
■ A Fair and Serious Battle ⚔️
The rules of this contest are unique. Except for the first speaker, all contestants must wait outside the room. They enter one by one to hear the topic. Since everyone speaks on the "exact same question under the exact same conditions," it is a completely fair fight with no room for tricks.
Today, I (TM O), who also participated as a contestant, will report on the excitement of the day, focusing on the "Comments from the Audience" I heard at the venue. Try to imagine what the speeches were like from these comments! 💭

💬 "I was intrigued by the opening about studying geography and history in English and wondering 'why?', and you recovered/resolved that point perfectly. I was drawn in." (by TM I)
