✨ 第534回 日本語例会を開催しました！｜武蔵小杉トーストマスターズクラブ

9月26日（土）、武蔵小杉トーストマスターズクラブ第534回日本語例会を開催しました。

今回は2名のゲストをお迎えし、新会員の入会式も行われました。

新しい仲間を迎え、ムサコファミリーがまた一段とにぎやかになりました！😊

🎤 スペシャル企画「論評ワークショップ」

今回は通常の例会とは少し趣向を変え、コミュニケーションのプロとして活躍するメンバーを講師に迎え、「論評ワークショップ」を開催しました。

講師が1992年に初めてトーストマスターズに参加した際、あるスピーチに対する論評の素晴らしさに衝撃を受け、入会を決意したというエピソードからスタート。

「論評をするためにスピーチを聴くのではなく、まずは一人の観客としてスピーチを楽しむこと」

という印象的なメッセージとともに、論評者の4つの役割について、実践的で分かりやすいレクチャーが行われました。

ワークショップの後半では、3名のメンバーが準備スピーチを披露しました。

今回のスピーチタイトルは、

・「好き」がつないだ、私のキャリア

・やっかいなやつ

・Why Japanese People!!

スピーチ終了後は、2〜3名のグループに分かれ、それぞれの感想や気づきをシェア。

その後、3名の論評者が、ワークショップで学んだことを生かして論評を披露しました。

スピーチを聴く楽しさ、そして、その魅力や可能性を相手に伝える論評の奥深さを改めて実感することができました。

 ✨ The 534th Musashi-Kosugi Toastmasters Club Meeting!

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, we held our 534th Musashi-Kosugi Toastmasters Club meeting in Japanese.

We were delighted to welcome two guests and celebrate the induction of a new member!

Our Musako family is growing! 😊

🎤 Special Workshop: The Art of Speech Evaluation

This meeting featured a special speech evaluation workshop led by one of our experienced members, a professional in communication.

The workshop began with a memorable story from 1992, when our facilitator first attended a Toastmasters meeting.

Although the speech itself did not particularly impress him, he was deeply moved by the quality of the evaluation that followed. That experience inspired him to join Toastmasters.

One of the key messages of the workshop was:

**“Don't listen to a speech just to evaluate it. First, enjoy it as a member of the audience.”**

Through an engaging and practical session, we learned about the four roles of an effective evaluator and discovered new ways to provide meaningful feedback.

🎙️ Prepared Speeches & Evaluation Session

In the second half of the workshop, three members delivered prepared speeches.

The speech titles were:

- “How My Passion Shaped My Career”

- “The Troublesome One”

- “Why Japanese People!!”

After listening to the speeches, we divided into small groups of two or three to share our impressions and observations.

Three evaluators then put what they had learned into practice, delivering thoughtful and constructive evaluations.

It was a wonderful opportunity to rediscover not only the joy of listening to speeches but also the value of helping fellow speakers recognize their strengths and explore new possibilities.

A big thank you to our workshop facilitator and everyone who contributed their speeches and evaluations!

It was a special meeting filled with learning, inspiration, and new discoveries.
